I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin. β†’ https://isolabellart.it.com Paintings notes: #isolabellart Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
We are looking at AI agents as we look at fireworks: bright, spectacular, capable of taking our breath away. But fireworks do not give off heat. They light up for a moment, then leave the darkness as it was. Many people today mistake the reflection of the sun on the water for the sun itself. They see in these machines a presence, an intelligence 'that understands', something that almost seems to want, choose, care. But it is a reflection. The light is real. The warmth is not. Delegating your entire digital life β€” and increasingly your mental and emotional life β€” to a digital assistant is convenient. At first, it's a relief. Then it becomes a habit. Then it becomes an addiction. The real risk is not that AI will become sentient. The risk is that we will become more passive. Less present. Less responsible for our choices. AI can help. It cannot live our lives for us. It does not feel the weight of consequences. It does not pay the price for mistakes. Let us use these tools to do better what we have decided to do. But let us not entrust something that does not live with the task of guiding a life that is, instead, uniquely human. #ai #openclaw #grownostr
When we all have our own personal AI agent, we will no longer have any excuses for not doing what we should have done. We will no longer be able to forget anything: birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, deadlines, etc. etc. Nothing. Our physical memory will become increasingly weaker. For some time now, many people have been unable to do mental arithmetic, but with AI agents, we will be able to do everything even if we don't know how to do anything. Fortunately for me, no AI agent has yet learned or has the sensitivity to paint in oils on canvas. For now... (Disclaimer: No AI was used to write this note.) (EDIT: actually no, I had to use deepl to translate into English πŸ˜“)
GM. I keep waking up too early. I take a look at Nostr and then have breakfast in the silence of the morning while I think about what to paint. It's a simple life. πŸ«‚πŸŽ¨
Two weeks ago I wrote: "I don't want my paintings to look real. I want them to convey emotions." Some people got it immediately. Others are still thinking about it. But here's what I know: The people who understand don't need convincing. They just need to find the painting that speaks to them. And when they do, they stop. #art #artstr #painting #isolabellart
I read conversations on social media, including Nostr, and I can't tell if they're human beings or their AI agents. It's disheartening and makes me lose the desire to interact with anyone.
