Ready to travel. image WHERE SHADOWS FALL β†’ Canada Certificate of authenticity. Letter included. Packed with care. Going home to Katie β€” the artist whose photograph inspired it. From her lens to my brush, now back to her wall. Energy flows. Art completes its circle. When she bought it, Katie wrote something beautiful: β€œI am choosing a currency that aligns with my values and the way I see energy moving.” Today, WHERE SHADOWS FALL returns to her. From her photograph, to my studio, to her home. The energy she spoke about β€” it’s real. And it keeps moving. Thank you, @Katie ⌁ πŸ™πŸ§‘πŸ“¦ #art #artstr #painting #isolabellart

This painting has a beautiful story to tell. Few of my paintings have one, and this painting is one of those few. One of my paintings was a wedding anniversary gift (@Derek Ross can confirm it). Another one was a Valentine's Day gift for @franny She had also given me a photo of herself and wanted to buy the painting, but her boyfriend bought it secretly and I was complicit in the surprise. Other beautiful stories are linked to friends here on Nostr, among these I remember: @Johano @Sergio @OnyxπŸ‘ΈπŸ» @boston wine @plebiANON @highperfocused ⚑ @npub16j6m...fjqz @Kirk All of them are connected to beautiful stories with my paintings and I thank them so much πŸ™πŸ«‚πŸŽ¨

I just realized, for integrity sake, I want to make clear that I was not the photographer, but rather the subject. My dear friend Chelsea Adair was visiting me and I was outside with the dog in the morning - something I had done hundreds of times this last year. A solitary moment with myself and nature. She had her camera out and I asked her to take a photo of me. To capture a moment that was so deeply personal. And this is what it has become :)
