This is the harbour of my city. That tower in the distance — the lighthouse — is its symbol. I've seen it a thousand times. But never like this. Drowned in orange. Reflected in still water. Surrounded by masts that look like a forest on fire. I feel proud and repulsed at the same time, and I can't explain why. Maybe that's exactly why I have to paint it.
