I actually like bitcoin more when there’s negative sentiment. It drives out all of the bandwagoners and scammers. What’s left are the hard-core OGs. You’ve been lied to your entire life. It doesn’t matter when you started investing in the S&P500 or whether you did it for 10 or 20 yrs Green line. Your excess return over true inflation (Money Supply) Yeah, you “made” money over any 10 or 20 year period dating back to 1959, but it’s hit or miss whether you actually made money in real returns The golden era was if you were invested from mid-80s to ~2005. That was the golden window; in other words, Boomers. The Boomers were able to compound against real inflation in a real way for a 15-20 year window. Outside that window you were either negative or barely beating inflation. Sometimes generational timing is everything. The S&P 500 is your true inflation hedge with perhaps some slight upside. But not by much. Luckily we have #bitcoin now. But this is a serious misunderstanding in the world. Retiring early due to your investments in the TradFi world is nearly impossible. JP Morgan just held a conference with a bunch of RIA‘s. One of their top guys was bashing #bitcoin saying it is “nonsense”, “worthless”, and “so obviously fraudulent”. Asserting that #bitcoin and eth are no different. (1) we are so early! (2) #bitcoin is really hard for TradFi guys because they have to humble themselves enough to watch people like @jack mallers @ODELL @HODL Who, no offense, don’t profile as the typical financial types. Even though their returns beat everyone on Wall Street. every day I wake up and I’m blown away that there are still millions of people that don’t get it yet. That means that there’s still massive upside for all of us. Lock in! Buckle up! 🚀

The analogy that keeps coming to my mind for #bitcoin vs #fiat is that Bitcoin is like pouring water into a bowl. What you pour in stays there. Fiat is like pouring water into a colander. The water only stays there for a minute and then escapes out the holes. As long as I constantly have water flowing into it, I’m fine, but the moment I stop the flow, I look down and realize I have nothing in my bowl.

So here is my assessment of the #butcoin right now. Everyone is waiting for inauguration day. So until then all of the narratives are repetitive…. Literally the same stuff for the last month. Haha I keep going to X and #nostr to see if there is something new, but nothing but repeat. Trump will probably sign a basic EO to start the semblance of a SBR, but it won’t have any teeth unless congress passes something with is not super likely for a few months…. If at all. What is best example of proof of work in your own life? For me it’s parenting. If you want good kids you have to put in the work. Simply being around (Proof of Stake) is not enough.
