Fuck Microsoft for trying to force you to have an online account tied to your operating system. And fuck their insane captcha system that I wasted half an hour trying to appease.
Eventually I got frustrated enough that I searched for the command line hack to disable the online registration requirement.

American Express called me today because they were concerned about a 5 figure payment I made to a law firm.
They asked me if everything went well with the services provided by the merchant and I was like "no, these fuckers are robbing me legally!"
This is why I'm skeptical of hardware signing devices with permanently installed batteries. Just pulled a Ledger Flex out of storage (in optimal cool & dry conditions) and the battery has swollen and burst out of the back panel. Device still works but only when plugged in.
This has consumed the bulk of my time for the past year. It ain't flashy but it's honest work.
