As a security engineer, I thrive upon being attacked. Novel attacks, while scary in the moment, pose interesting challenges to devise defenses against. Not being attacked is boring. Bring it on!

SMTP is such a shitty protocol with layers of opaqueness on top due to centralization and ossification. It's amazing that so many people are able to use it successfully.
