420, Bitcoin, wandering drifter, never lost, truth seeker & illustrious dreamer, freedom is everything. Retired IT project- & process nutcase."I would rather own a little and see the world, than own the world and see little of it. And if I only scrape a living. At least it's a living worth scraping.”
@theBitcoinRebbe and @pointbiz at Excellent discussion gentlemen... as The Corbett Report is saying: With a never-ending stream of taxpayer money and no competition in sight, governments are a breeding ground for stupid ideas. In fact, coming up with a list of all the idiocy that governments have inflicted on the world would be an impossible task, so let's just narrow it down to five really stupid government ideas. I have just been to Costa Rica and for the second time in El Salvador. Spend some time in a potential hot bitcoin breeding ground in Curacao [ , where there are some good bitcoin group participants are doing some great work. I am now on my way to Madeira [ were I see @andreloja doing good work. Here in Lissabon I met/meeting with @PacoSan who understands the issues very well. I hope and , @x11r0n from Bitcoin Jungle and @haiti_bitcoin , @bitcoinlake , @bitcoinLisboa , @lnp2pCR , @Bitcoin_Xoe and all those thousands of other bitcoin country groups are reading along. In the countries I have been I see it time and again that small merchants don't trust what is being concocted from higher up. *** So it proofs my thesis that a top-down adoption - a Government State Bitcoin Economy will not work... or at least not if there is not enough of a bottom-up adoption drive...*** I keep begging the influencers to concentrate on orange pilling the small merchants. As soon as they have the knowledge and understanding of a bitcoin economy, the domino effect can take place. See Western African States how successful they are even stopping CBDC's getting a footing. We can only learn from each other and from the excellent ideas that are openly discussed in groups like these. and at above mentioned individual Bitcoin Groups. I can only see so much potential and even more; Hope !
I was recently given the message; good luck in EU, when I told them I would choose Madeira over El Salvador. Here is my explanation: I hear what you are saying... but I keep thinking that Bukele is stirring the hornets nest with his country's Bitcoin Standard, crime fighting and corruption fighting efforts. So that said, I still believe a country has more merit in a bottom up - a public adoption and could be more effective in the short term like Nigeria has proven. El Salvador probably will weather a local banking crisis well, them being on the bitcoin standard so the public can and will have to switch to bitcoin. Even though many stores and companies aren't yet or very reluctant. A bottom up adoption is also important to fight a possible introduction of a CBDC, which of course El Salvador won't have and doesn't need. My biggest concern in El Salvador is what will happen if - heavens forbid - the mighty powers [Cabal, CIA, Illuminati - name them whatever] is overthrowing the current power in El Salvador...? Think extreme food and fuel shortages and yes ES does grown and produce a lot but not yet to self sustain itself I think on very short notice. My future ideas are that we soon have to go to a very self sustaining life style. Growing your own food and basically try to weather out the storms that are about to befall us very soon. No I don't want to be in Europe, but rather a place not of direct interest of those evil mighty powers. Temperate climate, with rainfall for food growth and drinking water. Maybe some good infrastructure and a beginning interest for bitcoin. So how much more dangerous or survivable would be El Salvador over any other small nation like for instance Madeira, out of the way of main stream interest of the evil powers be, is then my question? I could go on and on, and yes I too am trying to second guess and get the wiser without the magic Crystal Ball. The bitcoin communities are better getting a wider helicopter view and a discussion and narrative that goes further then only the merits of bitcoin in my humble opinion. Call me the Advocate of the Devil. Call me a silly paranoid man, but survival of the fittest and those with enough information and foresight of what might bring and the direction this dangerous times could turn to, will be better of.
It would be nice if SatoshiLabs #[0] made their Trezor be able to send and receive over Lightning Network. I guess some sort of max btc failsafe has to be build in?
Just reading all #[0] rants on Elon and her disgust about food and live... And I am here in El Tunco in EL Salvador not being able to live healthy and honest as I want... I think I want to find myself a small plot of land somewhere, build myself a small cabin and grow my own food and be self-sustainable... I'm thinking Madeira right now, high up on the mountain. Trying to survive this sick and mad world. image
The 'other' banking movie I can recommend everyone to see...
To all those that are on the dark side of this world, doing grave injustice to the people of this planet. None of us know our end, really. Or what hand will guide us there. A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, Judge or Jury, you cannot say; "But I was told by others to do thus," or that "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.
Talk about turning lemons into lemonade. The newest Cointelegraph documentary follows Scilling Digital Mining and Tom Campbell, the Bitcoin farmer who built the first farm in Ireland to power a Bitcoin mine with anaerobic digestion, literally turning cows' excrement's into pure mining energy 🐑 In my opinion a pretty stupid farmer. I would have been quiet about it and just store the earned bitcoins on a HW wallet... Nobody the wiser...
The ignorance under the traveling youth here in hostels is mind boggling. Absolutely no knowledge what Fiat is doing, the coming of the CBDC's. No knowledge about the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab and the dangers of the so-called vaccin... 'Global Warming' is definitely a thing and not a hoax. If they do want to know about Bitcoin, they'll want it without doing any research, just so they can travel and be even more lazy sheep. For crying out loud if they have to start thinking for themselves... https://rumble.com/v1nhtny-statism-the-most-dangerous-religion.html
Wish I had a time machine and have the skill set needed to survive that period too... image
