This is a message for all #Bitcoin HW and SW Wallets manufacturers, Softw. Developers, Bloggers & Influencers, Large/Corporate Investors & Manipulators, Traders, Crypto Exchanges, etc., etc....
What a clown show this industry is.
If you wanna self custody your bitcoin you are expected to:
Use a fake name, fake email and anon payment details.
Then pick up your hardware device from a PO Box created using those fake details.
Then use those fake details to also buy your casino grade dice for maximum entropy.
Then roll your giga chad dice on the floor 100x times whilst your wife looks at you like an absolute moron about to destroy your bloodline's future prosperity.
Then once you've got that seed generated you're expected to figure out how multi sig works, leading you down the rabbit hole of needing multi-vendor multi-sig.
So you go and pick up your second hardware device from the PO Box.
Then you wake up one day and discover your hardware device has been compromised by shitty software some brain dead dev wrote pre-AI.
So you transfer everything to an exchange.
The exchange then gets hacked and also leaks all your details to criminals too.
So now you're probably poor and destitute in the industry you've spent a decade shitposting about...
Normal people are never going to self custody.
Bitcoin maxis need to grow up.
We are past the early adopter phase.
And yeah self custody is obviously important, but you have to be autistic levels of retarded (pretty much everyone on here that follows me probably qualifies) to do it safely.
It feels like the events of the last few weeks are likely an intentional, coordinated attack against the bitcoin ecosystem to force people into custodied solutions, right before the entire fiat system implodes and the government steals all your bitcoi

Again, you only have to read: cybersecuritynews[dot]com and hackersnews[dot]com to realize this world is completely fcked... And then I am not even talking about the politicians and the deep state actors that try to get us to live in 'the matrix'.
But can we expect the common users and hodlers of Bitcoin to read, let alone; understand these technical information of above mentioned websites?
Every person I personally explained Bitcoin, I warned about self sovereign keeping their seeds, but also try a minimum of their time reading and studying, keeping up to date on Bitcoin, software and hardware [especially computers, software, modems] and other security related issues.
With holding bitcoins, YOU are the bank, the manager, the IT guy, the teller, even the guy with the gun taking care of security at your front door. But unfortunately, my advice is rarely followed. And I must say... we are often expected to be rocket scientists by these developers and hardware companies.
You can attack me on anything I write here... I don't mind a constructive discussion, but anything else, I consider you part of the problem.
Any users of a hardware wallet and accompanying software, even those that claim or really have the highest security in place, and have a big list of do's and don'ts - will be indirectly compromised if their computer or smartphone is compromised.
Then at a moment of frustration we might overlook the obvious warning signs and lose our assets.
I believe that certain warning signs are okay - but I still believe that software designers should create hardware and software solutions with a minimal of complex warning signs. It sometimes looks we - the general, not quite more than noobs - should be like pilots, that have to follow a pre-flight manual before take-off. We are common users and cannot always be expected to think like software developers. "Sorry, we warned you..." doesn't cut it.
We pay big enough money for your hardware wallets, so do your damn job and keep things KISS.
In the aftermath of these ColdCard hacks, I don't feel sorry if all hardware wallets feel it in their revenues as well....
I have an utmost respect Bitcoin Red Team that is working hard to follow the trail of stolen BTC from ColdCards... I definitely have a huge respect for open source software developers who with personal dedication spend all their time creating free and safe software on Nostr or other public platforms.
In Fiat the users are hostages of the evil bankers.
In Bitcoin the users are hostages of autistic Software Engineers.
