The good reverend (and many others too) make a interesting point: If the thesis is that The Adversary prevents sovereign usage of Bitcoin at the financial level (Chokepoint 2.0 etc), how is that any different than where Monero sits *right now*? Obviously it has greater privacy going for it, so USAGE can be less paranoid but interface with the legacy system is still hamstrung in the exact same way. So we have a reality where both your Monero and your self-custodied sats are not accepted by merchants because they can't use them for their own inputs. As a result, real crypto circular economies can only develop in free jurisdictions where merchants can trade their Bitcoin / Monero for whatever inputs they need. The whole "you're a dirty Keynesian if you support tail emission" has really got to die. For one, it's just inaccurate. John Maynard Keynes supported centralized economic organization, not monetary expansion. Two, Austrians generally support a gold standard, more inflationary than any suggested tail emission.
