I used liquid as a kind of cache and to cover my tracks as well as rebalance lightning channels, I ignored Darthcoin, until my money in liquid got locked up. One point for darthcoin, one less for me. View quoted note →

If you have relatively small amounts in Liquid, withdraw them through the Aqua wallet. Over the course of a few days, I was able to withdraw everything I had with a lot of patience. Tips: - Liquidity usually runs out around 3:00 UTC. - Liquidity is replenished around 14:00 UTC. - To avoid getting blocked by Indra, perform a swap every 5 minutes. - Before performing a new swap, close the app completely and reopen it. - If you want to go a little faster, switch between different IP addresses. Fuck Blockstream—you’ve recovered 85%, and in return, all the other users are left without their money.

Things I’ve gotten wrong: - recommending Liquid - recommending Jade - recommending Lightning - thinking that AI was a scam What steps have I taken to prepare for what’s coming? Don’t use any L2s; everything that’s been built around Lightning has also failed and will fail—Lightning is too complex a protocol. Stick to L1, and if you’re looking for privacy, use CoinJoin.

The Liquid cracker isn't going to respond anymore—he's on the run. That moron tried to get people to pay 10% legally, and obviously that was outright extortion—and disproportionate, to boot. The 600 bitcoins will eventually get mixed in. We’ll see what happens with Liquid’s 1:1 backing. On the one hand, Liquid is a network with 5 billion in assets; it would be stupid to let a network like that collapse over a 40 million shortfall, but we’ve already seen that Blockstream does stupid things.

Since 1914, the United States has been at war with the rest of the world. Since then, there hasn't been a single year in which the United States hasn't been involved in a war. It's the land of freedom and peace 😂. Fools.

Bitcoiners rejoicing over the theft of Bitcoin or inciting theft is like anti-abortionists rejoicing over the abortion of abortionists or inciting it.

The Bitcoin space has become a putrid quagmire of soulless, amoral corpses.
