People are celebrating Maduro's kidnapping, but has anyone noticed that Trump has kept Chavismo in power and rejected the legitimate winner of the elections? What a strange world.

Isn't Nostr fantastic? Just as Bitcoiners look on in disbelief at the lives of Fiat people, observing their degradation and the hardships they have to endure for adopting the fake money standard, something similar is happening on Nostr. From the Nostr valley, we see how on other platforms, including X, people are censored and lose their accounts for expressing opinions that differ from those of the NPC hordes. Here in Nostr, some of us are Bitcoiners, others are Moneroers, some are spammers, others are knots, others are Trumpers, there are even communists too, and none of us lose our accounts, nor are we censored, nor can our messages be deleted as happens in Bitcoin Core's Git. You also realize the stupidity of people who don't want to have financial peace of mind thanks to Bitcoin, because the same thing happens with Nostr. Many YouTubers, or people on Instagram or other media, lose their accounts and their income due to censorship. They have the solution at hand, but even when you explain it to them, they refuse it. Bitcoin and Nostr may not make the world a better place, but they do solve many current problems. However, we will also have to learn to live with the human stupidity that comes with not accepting solutions.

By @jaimercant Incredibly, there are naive people who believe that Trump has "liberated" Venezuela. Trump is only interested in petrodollars. That is why he is currently interested in oil-producing countries such as Venezuela, Nigeria, and Iran. In this regard, Trump presents a series of criminal paradoxes: - He attacks Venezuela to liberate a people from a dictator, while supporting the current president of Syria, a professional executioner. - He bombs Nigeria because he is concerned about persecuted Christians, but does not intervene in Sudan, where Christianity suffers much more atrocious and systematic persecution. - He is promoting a "spring" in Iran to overthrow a despotic Islamic regime, while rubbing shoulders with Saudi Arabia, a major patron of jihadist terrorism. - He wants to curb alleged Russian expansionism, while announcing that Greenland should belong to the US for reasons of geostrategic security. - He seeks to prevent Taiwan from being dominated by China, while threatening, in a coercive and bullying manner, to take the Panama Canal by force. - Until recently, he was a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize, even though he has consistently favored the genocidal state of Israel in its efforts to turn Gaza into a wasteland. In short, applauding Trump unthinkingly is equivalent to selling your soul to a greedy and unscrupulous devil. However, I have recently learned that, in this delusional world, it is metaphysically impossible to convince a certain legion of dichotomous and Manichean sheep; it is not that they have renounced "critical thinking," but that they are simply incapable of it, given the voluntary "collapse" of their intelligence. For them, criticizing Trump is equivalent, for example, to being a communist or defending Maduro... Faced with such crude and obtuse ideas, I believe that the best response is disdain. image

Since we are losing the battle against statism, let's be pragmatic. It doesn't matter if you use Custody Wallets. It doesn't matter if you use Liquid. It doesn't matter if you use Spark. It doesn't matter if you use Ark. It doesn't matter if you use Lightning. It doesn't matter if you use Coinjoin, whatever it may be. What matters is that you use Bitcoin. 2026 must be the year of Bitcoin adoption.

Things Bitcoin allows you to do that statists don't want you to know about (and beware that the world of Bitcoin is full of statists and idiots) - If you get a tax inspection, they won't be able to take anything from you. Keep in mind that the police can enter your home, so never keep your seeds at home. - The state cannot block your Bitcoin; you can always buy things with Bitcoin. - As a seller of goods or services, you have the option of using Bitcoin as black money, so you don't have to worry about the state knowing what you deposit in the bank without invoicing. Simply accept these payments in Bitcoin instead of fiat money. This is one of its strongest properties and the one we need to promote the most. - You will be immune to money printing by the government. - If the government screws you over, you can take all your wealth and leave for another country without any problems at the borders. - You will not be financing wars.

Explained for dummies, there are three versions: For statists, there are two versions: Right: - I am glad Maduro has fallen. - I am glad the US is now taking over Venezuela. Left: - I am not glad about Maduro's downfall. - I am not glad that the US is now taking over Venezuela. And there is a third version, which is that of men who are consistent in their defense of private property, which is: - I am glad about Maduro's downfall. - I am not glad that the US is taking over Venezuela.

Command and Conquer, but they sell it to you as democracy and that they are the saviors. Countries invaded and/or bombed by the US (direct military action): - Afghanistan (missiles 1998; invasion/war 2001–2021; subsequent attacks) - Bosnia and Herzegovina (NATO bombing 1995 with US participation) - Cambodia (bombing 1969–73; incursion 1970) - North Korea (war and bombing campaign 1950–1953) - Dominican Republic (intervention/invasion 1965) - Grenada (invasion 1983) - Haiti (intervention 1994) - Iraq (1991; 1991–2003; invasion 2003; bombing 2014–) - Iran (attacks 1987–88; bombing of nuclear facilities June 22, 2025) - Japan (atomic bombings 1945) - Kuwait (1991, war to expel Iraq) - Laos (bombing campaign 1964–1973) - Lebanon (landing 1958; bombings 1983–84) - Libya (bombing 1986; air campaign 2011; subsequent attacks) - Nigeria (attacks Dec. 25, 2025) - Pakistan (drone strikes and cross-border operations, since the 2000s) - Serbia and Montenegro/Yugoslavia (including Kosovo) (1999 NATO bombing with key role played by the US) - Syria (bombing and attacks 2014–; also recent waves) - Somalia (intervention 1992–93; subsequent air strikes/drone attacks) - Sudan (missiles 1998, “Operation Infinite Reach”) - Venezuela (attack on a dock Dec. 2025; incursion/major attack Jan. 3, 2026) - Vietnam (war and bombings 1960s–1973) - Yemen (attacks since 2002; intense campaign in 2025)

The problem with Americans is that they expect everyone to share their view of things. Obviously, the conquered will not have the same view as the conqueror, even when you free them from a dictator.

Sometimes, due to my fight against human stupidity, I forget one of my core principles: pragmatism. I don't care about dogmas; I only do what benefits my family. The world is run by the interests of 0.01% of the population. The other 99.99% of humans should not care about their actions, even if they affect them, and should focus on the future of their families and little else, given that the struggle is asymmetrical. But this brings me back to human stupidity. For more than 100 years, men have ignored the hard money that brings prosperity to their families and instead use the fake money that benefits that 0.01%. If you love someone, don't make them use that fake money because it will only bring them pain. Just use hard money and ignore the noise.

Today is a very interesting day for reflection. Some people said, “Does the end justify the means?” Well, we have to look at the damage caused by those means, but if the end is to overthrow a dictator who has ruined a population of 30 million people for years, what happened today is more than justified. But was today's goal to overthrow Maduro or to steal Venezuela's oil? It's curious how Putin has been criticized, and mind you, I'm never going to defend a statist, but I love to expose the double standards of the West. Putin simply defended or took advantage of the opportunity that arose when Ukraine bombed and massacred the Russian-speaking population in eastern Ukraine for years in order to annex those lands. Was it because of the massacre of the Russian population or was it to annex the land? We will never know. But today Trump tells you directly that it is because of the oil, and it is not just part of Venezuela, it is all of Venezuela. Worry more about your family and your pocketbook than defending statist interests, and you will get further in life.
