some of the best creative minds turn out to be pure monsters outside their craft. agony makes art. does it have to? can you separate the art from the artist? is it necessary? if we discovered that archimedes was a monster behind the math, does it make the work more or less relevant? or if satoshi was a serpent of a cypherpunk, does it negate the end result? is it all just an excuse? recently read the variety fair piece on mccarthy. it love his writing. but a questionable character. does it mean the works published and shared are to be thrown away like a left over meal? or burned like a diseased dead animal? or, just accept the work for what it is. leave the person behind it out?
