spent 8 weeks building out a film production platform that tries to make the most of agentic ai, local models, and way to operate without using nodes. my goal was to create something that helps me focus on the craft of filmmaking. some things worked. others didn't. the friction between trying to make and fixing what breaks got real. i'd start something. something breaks. momentum lost. loop. start. stop. repeat. have to bench it for now. films to make. deadlines on deck. learned a lot. maybe in a month... i'll come at it with a new perspective and ideas. coding aint my full time. something i'm learning on the go. it's been educational.

writing next short longhand. trying the classic way. thinking of snagging a typewriter too... or not. just thinking. writing on a midori a5 notebook with a pilot metropolitan fountain pen.

got a short story ive been working on for a bit. thinkigy of switching to writing long hand then transcribe to type. you know the old school way. no reason other than why not.

being a creative centralized systems work better. less friction. tradeoffs that everything gets muddy. compartmentalizing work and personal. devices for each. my inner minimalist screams even though everythings earning its place. thats the other tradeoff. peace of mind or pieces of mind.

living on bitcoin. haven't written in a while. just got nothing to say. nothing to really share. very niche readership. to be honest it all changed after i finished writing the book. felt like i said all i needed to say. and that was that. the book hasn't sold yet. it's actually quite hard to sell considering its only available on plebeian market. but why not use another platform? i would if i had a bank account. maybe its time to get one and join the rest of the world. have a book signing at a local book store. it'll be my first time doing something like that. meet people. share the story. almost got the store to take bitcoin. it all takes time. the words physical though. outside of me. lives on paper. we'll see.

got word my short film was accepted into another film fest! only... it was in spam. a week ago. hopefully the fest is forgiving and accepts it still. one can hope.
