The controls for this game are really bad. Not only does it force you to switch back and forth between motion mode and side-scroller mode, but it also makes you navigate a 3D game with a D-pad like it’s still the PSOne, PSP or DS, and it's very clunky. Metroid Other M has been a subpar experience so far.

I played Resident Evil 1 (not the remaster, but the original PS1 version). I only did Jill's route so far, but I plan to tackle Chris's on the HD version next. I'm seriously impressed by how fun this game still is. I've only dipped into a few minutes of pretty much every other RE title, so now I'm hooked enough to go through the entire series completely. I also get why RE fans hated on RE4 back in the day (this one's all about puzzle-solving, while the later games have the easiest, dumbest puzzles ever lol). Oh, and I'll never accept Jill's modern design. Never. #gaming #gamestr
