I am currently helping a family from the south of my country. One of the brothers is in jail for scamming people with stock options. Sadly, I tried to convince the family that this guy was a fraud and didn't know how to trade options. They handed me his laptop to see if there were any clues about money, as they are deep in debt because of him. This fraud was just googling live YouTube traders and copying them. He lost over $25k in a year in trading and is currently being hunted by drug lords, corrupt cops, his own family members, and a bunch of other innocent people caught in his scams. As someone who loves making fun of these hacks, it's surreal to see this whole situation unfold right in front of me. Sadly, the whole situation isn't funny at all. While that guy is currently suffering inside a cell with a bunch other men and no space to lay down, it's his family that is being made even more miserable and paying the price, they are receiving constant death threats, they have zero credit and are at risk of losing everything. Oh yeah, the hack fraud also had an Instagram account where he pretended to be a wealthy stock trader, writing crap like "it's all about your mindset". I got hold of some of his "luxury items", it's all fake generic garbage that you can buy on Aliexpress. Real charm.
