@Derek Ross has given me a bunch more reason to stare at my phone way too much, at least for awhile, by putting Omalauncher ( 
) in front of my face.
This is pretty sweet, especially for someone who inadvertently got an OEM locked phone and can't install Graphene (though it works just fine on Graphene too).
So easy to make use of the agentic AI that I accidentally created a widget last night, using Laguna S 2.1 (free) to replace the search bar that the stock Android launcher has.
Didn't realize how much I needed a koi pond on my home screen. Or a terminal (though I had an inkling).
Also works in landscape mode 🤯.
I do ALMOST wish it pulled my icons over from my stock launcher because I'm taking quite awhile to pull those onto the screen but it's absolutely worth it. I probably didn't need them all on the main screen anyway. I'm just realizing I don't know some of the app names so much as their location/icon 😃.

I just asked Omalauncher what it'd take to build a widget to search using the default browser and default search engine after noticing Omalauncher gets rid of the google search bar.
Using Laguna (free) while rate limited it had a new widget ready and live in 15 minutes.
The future is now.

Got myself back over to the 1.5 pood kettlebell the last few days after being a slothful piece of shit for a few years while doing hockey dad things.
The 2 pood bell probably won't be making a comeback too soon. This thing is kicking my ass. Though I am glad it didn't take too long to get off the 1 pood bell.
Just doing swings for now. Turkish Getups in my office seem to be too constrained by space and impacted by the slippery floor and are a great way to injure myself (and thus, do less working out). Otherwise rocking that Simple & Sinister approach from Pavel Tsatsouline.

@jack mallers regarding inflating the debt away, does it not make sense to first let rates go high in a crisis, so that the treasury can buy up debt at pennies on the dollar, in advance of the Fed monetizing the newly issued debt, putting a bid under it at lower rates than what was bought back?
Seems like Warsh and Bessent may be two hands of the same actor if this is the case.
Also, how much even needs to be broadly inflationary? If you can instigate a deleveraging event in the private (or better yet, offshore) banking system, can you not just have the Fed's newly printed money replacing the private sector deposits, being, as @Lyn Alden puts it, antideflationary rather than inflationary, as QE was?
Sure blown up banks will sell their treasuries, but there's a LOT of other collateral in repo that the treasury could be more than happy to let die.
If anyone can pull this off I have to assume it's Bessent. Curious if you see a hole in this. Cheers on the great show as always.
