It's rare for a bad system to be replaced with an ideal one right away. Democracy was better than brute rule by a king. But the idea of a Constitutional Republic is even better. Technology is making things better in some respects and will probably result in an improved future.
It wasn't the best possible idea, but it was an attempt at better, even if misguided or miscalculated. I think it ultimately led to better ideals.

I'm losing sympathy for people who choose to remain ignorant about how the fiat system works. That includes pretty much everyone with a smartphone and internet access. There's little excuse anymore.
It's really rude when engineers use two opposing nuts of the same size. Going one size up or down prevents needing two like size wrenches. It's probably rarely necessary to do this.
Cigars may bring death to me, but I can't imagine life without them.
I'm feeling that bull tingle again. Can't even tell you why. Maybe the printers are warming up and sending waves out.
