The Podcasting 2.0 sats are nice, they help us continue to build our Meshtadel economies. But to know that @Ungovernable Misfits were there for someone at one of the most special moments of their lives is deeply meaningful To know we took someone’s stress away during a monumental life event by making them smile is priceless. R - God Bless you sir, God bless your beautiful wife in bringing another ungovernable pleb into this world, and may God bless and watch over your children. image

Bassload and I have frequently discussed the comparative energy consumption of AI versus the caloric intake of the human brain. The energy extracted from the Earth and converted for use would need to be significantly higher for AI to even approach the productivity/creativity levels of the human brain. AI's energy consumption would far exceed that required by humans, yet it would still not nearly match the brain's efficiency or output. The energy consumed by the soul is not of this earth and cannot be measured by earthly metrics. View quoted note →

I say this from a middle aged, blue collar, middle class perspective… We are a one income family, by design. We’ve always been able to make ends meet while prioritizing the upbringing of our children over wealth. Now that we are to the point where we’re in wealth building mode for the next phase of life, I’m glad we have Bitcoin and my mining projects. For me it won’t be a Cantillon rent seeker strategy, but more blue collar hustle, as I know no other way. View quoted note →
