Been working on my Saturday to-do list all week but wake up and all I want to do is drink coffee and grab some crumbs of dopamine from the social internet. And have a stare-down with this porch squirrel.
Making some homemade vanilla syrup for our post workout coffee time.
Good thing about syrup when you're drinking coffee on a tailgate is you can kind of just swirl to mix. No stirring required.
Had to put my buddy down yesterday. Feline AIDS finally caught up to the boy.
Adopted off the streets, he lived more years than he should have and helped domesticate me.
You'll be missed, Stormy! ๐ฅน
took this photo of my brother and i back in 2006.
my grandma had given me this minolta film camera.
i was in high school, but taking a "beginning photography" class at a community college.
the college had a whole photo development darkroom and everything.
this shot holds up.
Ordered a homiletics book that I discovered on a blog review from (i think) doug wilson 12ish years ago. I had gifted my original copy, as I tend to do with my favorite books.
The Homiletical Plot really coincided with my study of Luther's theology of preaching forgiveness of sins. Preaching "application" was losing its luster.
Book should be here tomorrow, hope it holds up to my fond memories. Now i just need to find somewhere to preach. Small problem.
I made a poster for my grandpa of all of his favorite cars that he has owned. He owned a Mobil service station in South St Louis City since the 1950s until the 90s.
