Not that this surprises me, but it does amaze. How they search out new ways to give my money to big corporations do do things that ought not be done.

Cool thing this morning. In Mark 8:22 (ish) Jesus healed the blind guy at Bethsaida by spitting in his eyes. I thought 'how very offensive of Jesus. Couldn't he come up with a better way?' I mean, gross! But the guy knew he was blind. He needed God to do something. Then I thought of Revelations 3:17 where He calls the church of Laodacea 'blind and poor and wretched' though they thought they could see and had no lack. I need Him to spit in my eyes. I'd rather know now, and see what He sees, hear what He hears, and feel what He feels. I don't act right blind. I try, but I don't really commit to the action. It's half hearted at best.
