Geek biologist lost in the web of life. Likes tech, dirt, plants, compost bins, hardware, software, thoughtware, falling leaves, falling loves, furry beings, present moments, deep breaths. #deCrapping #deGoogle #deMeta #selfhosting #linuxjunkie
Great app this #boris reader. I just found one of the best and short texts about money sovereignty I ever read. Crypto money should be a subject in formal education.
How do I send zaps to you guys for the awesome work you did putting this #nostrvault together?
That's me in love with #Nostr and all its potential. Also me trying to undestand what it is, how it works, managing wallets, and trying to fit in.
May all relays be free from suffering.

Today I learned that I can setup my own relay in my own vps, and that the same server can serve the fediverse too. They should be teaching that in primary schools too. #deCentralize #deMeta #deGoogle #deMicrosoft #deCrapTheWeb
The day that you'll need to grab YOUR 1Tb of data from your OneDrive cloud storage will not be forgotten. Think hell for days in a row. The API will freeze, the app will freeze, the whole shebang will freeze multiple times so you don't ever get out of there. And that's why you should. #deMicrosoft
Chupa, Trump! #chupatrump
O Brasil é dos brasileiros!! You too, Zuckerberg, go suck a mule.
Being a great ape comes with great responsibility. Paradigm shift ahead. Be warned ⚠️
I've just tested #nmail and it's awesome. I loved that the remote signer requires you to approve senders. The definitive end to spam is here!!
It's a shame most of it is coming from main stream, centralized social networks run by billionaires. A paradix right there.
Thanks to tgis account we have it on Nostr.

Does anyone knows when #anagram, the alternative to #telegram, build on Nostr, is expected to be launched?
I asked AI to explain how does follows and followers work here, as if I was in the third grade. It did work wonders. Bulletin boards all around the school have my drawings pinned on. My peers know they are mind becaused I signed them all with a magic pen.

How do I know here, if anyone is actually seeing one's content in their feed? I have no followers. I presume nobody will actually read this, right?
Where does one go to take a course about this technology? I mean, NIP, Kind, Zap, Sats, Relays... it's exciting to be part of the unfolding decentralized internet. My goal is to selfhost and contribute to this sneaky revokution. But it's a steep climb, as I see.
Somehow, "I told you, so" doesn't quite cover. Meta has become an enterprise for mass manipulation, and it will do it, whether you like it or not. Soon people will be literally blind by wearing their glasses.

If any of you still question the capacity humans have to change the very one and only planet they inhabit, here is a sequence of images, that show you what use to be the Atlantic Forest in southern Brazil. The athmosphere is changing too, but it's less visual.

Selfhosting should be like using a refrigerator you store shared food: Extremely easy to use, massively spread all over the world, and impossible to break in remotely.
Instead, we have something still highly technical to deploy, overwhelmingly hard to keep safe, and almost nowhere to be found.
