Is there work going on to standardize the way signing events with extensions is done from a UI perspective? 🙏 This looks like absolute 💩. How do we expect users to understand this? Are there examples of this flow that is user-friendly somewhere? image

Are there Bitcoin podcasts out there where the host is actually a bit technical and interviews developers instead of these rotating 20 influencers that go on every damn podcast out there? It's soooo fucking boring to listen to.

Hey @strike @jack mallers - I reached out on X a couple of days ago to get help with my account that for some reason has been locked due to breaking "Terms of Service". I haven't used the account since I registered in April when you launched in the EU. It makes no sense. You sent me a DM asking for my account name, I replied and then you ghosted me? Support only replies with something along the line of "This decision is final and we have nothing more to say".

Is the only thing we need to scale bitcoin Mercurylayer and Lightning? I think we might get very close. Mercurylayer gives us non-custodial off-chain transfers within the statechain. Lightning gives us a way to do payments outside of the statechain via one or several "internal" LSPs. This is basically Wallet of Satoshi but non-custodial. This is basically Fedimint without having to trust a federation. Someone, please build this. NOW! image

I've sadly come to the realization that most Nostr apps are very janky on non-chromium based browsers. It's ironic, because Chrome is not what we should promote in the community. The overall quality of apps needs to improve dramatically. *Please start testing on non-chromium browsers.*

I feel like a proper idiot, but how the heck do I reset @SimpleX Chat when I can't get into the app? Using iOS and MacOS. Is there some local data I can remove somewhere? Unusable at the moment since I can't remember my DB passphrase 🤷‍♂️

@PABLOF7z I just tried exit.pub! Was initially having some issues on Safari but tried Chrome and got it working. Checking the console it looked like Safari dropped it's WebSocket connections at some point 😭 Anyway! Great job 👏

Since I'm in a hotel room and don't have access to my home office I tried something new today for @svelteradio I think I've found my ideal setup. It works really well even on the go. Probably ditching my "proper" stuff at home in favor of this. 1/4 🧵 👇

I have to give Apple props for this. Transferred from my old phone to a new one and it even brought with it all the PWAs that I had "downloaded", *including* locally stored information! 👏 Unexpected, but welcome!

If you’re tired of crappy search results from Google, maybe give Kagi a try. Worth every penny. And you can even pay with Bitcoin. 🤟 They recently released a new feature highlighting the “small web”: blog.kagi.com/small-web

I've been going down the Rust rabbit hole. At first it seems very intimidating coming from the JavaScript world but I'm finding it to be pretty fun... even though I don't understand half of the syntax just yet 😂
