The source code is visible at https://github.com/Kokkomaki/financial-censorship/ The site and the data may be the first to systematically collect financial censorship events. Do share it with others that may be interested in seeing it as visualised data. You can also contribute by submitting cases and correcting them. There's still some things left to do, but for now I am taking a pause and see where this is going. It's not yet ready, and I'm still compiling a dataset. It's a monitor tracking cases of financial censorship, such as bank account freezes, payment blocks, and asset seizures used against journalists, activists, and civil society. It should be fully automatic, thought that might take some time to do. I wrote my Master's thesis on this topic back in 2023.

Now with the power of Claude Code I can finally create an near-exhaustive dataset with code and AI. I have been working on this for a while, and it might still take few months as I am also starting my work. More on that soon.
