Great energy last night at my local photography club meetup! Got a chance to share a glimpse of the early draft of the upcoming book - positive feedback all around!

The magic of photography lies in it's ability to teleport you through time and space – an instrument of time travel. I cherish these memories, memories that felt like just yesterday. Somehow, time passes. Life goes on. People walk their paths. But the memories stay. These photos take me back to a time that once was. The feelings come back to me vividly – Japan and it's oddity, a place that felt worlds apart to everything i've known. The laughs we shared. The older couple that mesmerized us by their youthfulness. The feelings of radical *aliveness*. The song "Walking on a Dream" played as we cruised around in that van. It was the first time I heard that song. The feelings of ecstasy came rushing over me. Life is poetic. I find myself dancing to the rhythm while glancing back in that rear-view mirror.
