If you find yourself getting an urge to book a flight on Frontier Airlines, you might want to take stock of your life and the choices you’ve made to arrive at that place. Then you should probably punch yourself in the face until the urge goes away.

Apparently in fiat world there was something called the “Video Music Awards” (VMA) last night. LOL, not in this lifetime. Self congratulatory Hollywood / celebrity co-slobbering and pretending everything’s fine.

I used the last hour or so to upgrade my Raspberry Pi based Umbrel server to 1.0 and make sure the Bitcoin node is back to sync. Next project is to install a Nostr relay. Why, was there something something else going on tonight?

All respect to those who choose to make a clean break with other social media. I get it. For me, I see Nostr and X the same as I see Bitcoin and the dollar. Both are necessary, for a time. I’ll be more advanced and healthier when I no longer think that.

I just checked my balances and despite the chaotic volatility in Bitcoin’s price, I have the same number of sats I had yesterday. And next week when I check I’ll have more. Not seeing the problem.

To activate my wallet on Primal it asks for name, email address, DOB, country. Not sure what additional KYC lays beyond the ‘Next’ button so I’m holding off spoofing this stuff, to try to understand this better. Why is it needed?
