Stacking sats made me forget something important. Not every expense is a loss. I can relax a bit. It feels good to actually spend some money for once. To buy something I wanted. I’ve been stacking sats like a maniac for almost 2 years now. Every purchase scrutinized. Every decision second-guessed. What can I sell? What can I flip? And I’m in the red, by quite a bit. It doesn’t matter. My new computer cost me nearly the equivalent of $1000. I’m never going to make anything close to that because of it. I’ll «lose» money on it. No. I spent money on it. Not the same. Discovering bitcoin is hard work. We need to support each other through this. Stay humble. Stay hungry. Stack sats. Spend some money on shit you like, want, need or whatever. Learn. New machine up and running. On the left that is. Got Linux installed. Tried a little bit of mining using the CPU. Works. Im looking into renting out my GPU. Dont think thats something i will do alot of, but nontheless worth looking into, i might learn something. It is truly astonishing what a pleb like me can achive in a short amount of time with a tool like AI. What a time to be alive. Another problem to tackle is the fan lights. New computer is on its way. Second hand. Bought is from a young man upgrading his setup. RTX 3080. Ryzen 9 5900x. 1TB nvme. Rainbow color fans… typical gaming setup! I will try to kill the lights, im too old for that! And as always, a deal was made with 100% trust given from both parties. The one thing i really love about Norway is the amount of trust we have for one another. And misuse of this trust is so rare. Good people everywhere! Cant wait to get it running. Update on the node. Taking for ever! But is still creeping up. Like 0,2 0-3 % pr day. Amazingly slow. I will not quit. My patiens is infinite. The old computer will struggle to finish its task. But it will do good as a designated node maskin. Sure is not got for anything else. Taking on an extra week of on call duty at work. Fri-fri. Starts tomorrow. The FIAT grind is real. Pays well. My old machine is still chugging away at the bitcoin blockchain. Synced up to 50% now. Seems promising. Going for pruned was a good idea. No miners running at this time, does not feel right.
