Idea for hands-on Bitcoin education (feedback welcome) I want to try a simple experiment to teach Bitcoin to people close to me in a practical, operational way, not a theoretical one, and I’d like to contrast it with the community. The idea is this: I give them an NFC tag with a very clear message: “Here are your first sats. Learn, create your on-chain wallet and your Lightning wallet, and when you know how, withdraw them. Once you succeed, send me 5 sats to prove you know how to use it. From then on, I’ll start sending you sats periodically.” On a technical level: • The NFC points to an LNURL-Withdraw (temporary, conscious custody). • There are no step-by-step instructions. • There is no recommended wallet. • There is no manual to follow — there are already many good ones online. The learning process involves: • understanding Bitcoin / Lightning • understanding how to receive and send • creating an invoice • distinguishing on-chain vs Lightning • taking responsibility After that, the second step is knowing how to send those 5 sats back and demonstrate control. Along the way, many doubts and questions will naturally appear — the same ones we all had — and that’s where the real value lies. I’m not looking for gamification or “Bitcoin for kids”, but for: • minimal but real friction • sovereignty from the start • understanding before using I’m especially interested in: • criticism of the approach • pedagogical improvements • more sovereign alternatives • similar experiences you’ve already tried Looking forward to your thoughts. 👀⚡️

La idea es esta: Entrego una etiqueta NFC diciendo algo muy concreto: “Aquí tienes tus primeros sats. Aprende, crea tu wallet on-chain, tu wallet Lightning y, cuando sepas hacerlo, retíralos. Cuando lo consigas, envíame 5 sats para demostrar que sabes manejarte. A partir de ahí, empezaré a enviarte sats periódicamente.” A nivel técnico: • La NFC apunta a un LNURL-Withdraw (custodia temporal, consciente). • No hay instrucciones paso a paso. • No hay wallet recomendada. • No hay manual que seguir, ya hay muchos y muy buenos online. El aprendizaje pasa por: • entender Bitcoin/LN • entender como recibir y enviar • crear una invoice • diferenciar on-chain vs Lightning • asumir responsabilidad Después, el segundo paso es un saber como devolver esos 5 sats y demostrar control. Veo mucho usuario de Nostr que estamos aprendiendo y cacharreando para montar nuestros propios nodos BTC y LN. Creo que una de las grandes cosas que te lleva a bajar por la madriguera es la necesidad de aprender como funciona todo, y a medida que lo haces y desciendes, y entiendes, más fuerte y robusto parece todo. Más quieres formar parte del ecosistema y más ayudas a que tu círculo adquiere ese conocimiento. Y lo dice uno que hace 15 años llevado por la curiosidad minaba en el ordenador de casa cuando aún era posible y 1BTC era céntimos… donde estarán aquellas claves .. 😢🥲🙈🙉

Nostr permite que una aportación útil genere una respuesta económica inmediata a través de Lightning. Esto es lo que importa: señales claras, sin ruido, en una red donde el incentivo es aportar y no aparentar. ⚡️

I see a lot of people here glued to Bitcoin’s fiat price. It’s not good or bad. It’s just incomplete. 1. 1 BTC = 1 BTC. Yes. The supply doesn’t change, no one prints it, no politician can touch it. That’s the sovereignty frame. 2. But your life is still priced in fiat. Mortgage, groceries, car, school… everything is paid in euros or dollars. If you ignore the fiat price, you ignore your real risk and your real purchasing power. 3. Bitcoin doesn’t need fiat. You still do (for now). Ignoring the price is posturing. Obsessing over it is useless. Both make you blind. 4. “1 BTC = 1 BTC” isn’t about price — it’s about mindset. It’s a reminder that this is a 20-year project, not a daily roulette wheel. 5. The real balance: • Fiat to decide (risk, taxes, liquidity). • Sats to think (savings, conviction, sovereignty). Conclusion: It’s not absurd to look at the fiat price. What’s absurd is believing it’s the only thing that matters — or that it never matters. Bitcoin is a bridge between two worlds: the old one collapsing and the new one emerging. To cross it, you need to speak both languages.

Veo a mucha gente aquí viviendo pegada al precio fiat de Bitcoin. Ni es malo ni es bueno. Solo es incompleto. 1. 1 BTC = 1 BTC. Sí. Su oferta no cambia, nadie lo imprime y no depende de políticos. Ese es el marco de la soberanía. 2. Pero tu vida sigue en fiat. Hipoteca, comida, coche, colegio… todo se paga en euros. Si no miras el precio fiat, no sabes tu riesgo real ni tu poder adquisitivo. 3. Bitcoin no necesita al euro. Tú sí (de momento). Ignorar el precio es postureo. Obsesionarse tampoco ayuda. Ambas cosas te vuelven ciego. 4. La frase “1 BTC = 1 BTC” no va de precio, va de mentalidad. Sirve para recordar que esto es un proyecto a 20 años, no una ruleta diaria. 5. El equilibrio real: • Fiat para decidir (riesgo, compras, impuestos). • Sats para pensar (ahorro, convicción, soberanía). Conclusión: No es absurdo mirar el precio en euros. Lo absurdo es creer que solo importa eso o que nada importa. Bitcoin es un puente entre dos mundos: el viejo que se derrumba y el nuevo que se construye. Para cruzarlo necesitas hablar ambos idiomas
