the big antenna next door to the hostel. gonna see if i can rent me a bed for a few days. need to sleep heh.

seems to be uzbekistani takeaway. with domashiy kompot (fruit preserve) plov seems to be the name of a rice and meat specialty. next door is actually open and it is halal which means no pork \o/
i got ripped by the taxi driver of course, paid $25 for a 24km drive. 2-3x standard local rates. same exact shit happened first time i was in sofia. doesn't happen in sofia anymore but i think that is a loss really.
anyhow, i finally made it. bishkek is avsum. i am glad to be here.
my hostel is easy to find also. some government facility with a giant antenna you can see from everywhere. going to go check in there a little later.
the kyrgyz som, thr currency, is about 87 per usd. the bed should be about $6/night so i guess about 50-60 som.
the roads are awesome also, mostly unmarked lanes, taxi driver's phone telling him where all the video kontrol is. haha.
i don't really want to stay in bishkek tho. but i may need to run around searching out immigration shit. would be good tonat least know what it takes to stay here longer than 30 days every 60.
