I Didn’t get the job… I really wanted it too. Kinda bummed. The position has only been available twice in 40 years. Super rare and fun “job”… It was a manager position at my old employer. Which I left on good terms with. Oh well. I got the email yesterday morning and went for a run in the woods. I ran into my friend on the trail. He was THE guy. My mentor. The boss who held that position for over 20 years and helped shape the whole program… I worked for him as a teenager. He helped me develop and grow into a professional athlete. Him and a crew of older riders guided me more than they could ever understand. Now he’s doing his own consulting and still thrashing around in the woods on a bike. Homie is over 50 and still kills it…Like the fucking boss he is. I hadn’t seen him for a few years. So inspiring. My point with this story?… This was a sign… This was a Turning point in my future path. I need to jump off a cliff. At least that’s what it feels like. I started the business last week. An llc.
