Back in 2018 the G7 working group on central bank digital currencies described the need to inter operate between the different CBDCs in their first white paper. Let that sink in for a second. This CBDC thing has been in the works for at least 5 years at this point, and the G7 nations are coordinating between themselves to implement it. Doesn’t this sound suspiciously like a one world fiat currency to anyone else?…. Prominent researchers have been warning about this for 30 years, and for 30 years they were branded “conspiracy theorists” and nut jobs. Funny how yesterdays conspiracy theory becomes todays government policy. Opt out with #bitcoin

The Nostr protocol is a thing of beauty. It’s simple, extensible, and effective. Within just 6 hours of coding I’ve already been able to build a rudimentary client as part of a new foss project I’m working to bring nostr to the command line for the terminal nerds. Twitter and the like cannot compete with this. Open protocols will always beat the closed ones, in the end. I believe this technology will change the world, along with Bitcoin and Lightning. I have hope for the future of humanity with these tools. #bitcoin ⚡️ #nostr 🦩

Started working on a nostr client for the command line - for those of us like me who live in a terminal most of the time and would love to have a nostr embedded into a tmux session in their terminal. Mostly just doing it for a hobby outside of work, and to learn the nostr protocol, which is throughly awesome in its design and simplicity. Will open source the code if anything usable comes from it down the line.
