U.K. bond yields spiked sharply Thursday after the ruling Labour Party unveiled a sweeping package of tax hikes and increased borrowing.
At some point you must look at stocks and look for the real return not just nominal. And truth is we are told a lie about the true inflation (ex this ex that) and then are suppose to trust the nominal and real numbers we are fed by the govt. Like the saying goes “don’t trust, verify”
Stop listening to the macro analysts and verify your own experience with inflation and then decide if you think your returns have kept pace with inflation.

Also was it confiscation at bank level or at individual level? Just trying to understand how this actually worked.
