I just got off the phone with my software engineer who also has a PHD in applied physics. He is autistic as they get, and still "normally" functions. He said they'd have to slow block speeds down by ~10%, slow Node speeds down by ~25%, replace the chipsets on all nodes over time with an "ASIC style" chips, and it would help to increase the number of Nodes by 400%.
