Boston Tea Party 🫖 December 16, 1773 Today marks the 252nd anniversary of the pivotal protest against British taxation without representation and the monopoly of the East Indian Company. Initiated by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, colonists dumped chests of tea into Boston Harbour to protest the Tea Act, leading to the Intolerable Acts and escalating tensions toward the American Revolution. They would fall off their chairs if they heard how much we're being taxed today... 🫢
