Quick reality check from the WHO's own physical-activity fact sheet: about 31% of adults worldwide, 1.8 billion people, don't hit the minimum of 150 minutes of moderate activity per week. That's up 5 points since 2010, and it's projected to reach 35% by 2030. 150 minutes sounds like a lot, but it's ~22 minutes a day. A brisk walk after dinner covers most of it. The same WHO guidance also says muscle strengthening benefits everyone, and that some activity is better than none. If you're starting from zero: walk daily, and add two short bodyweight sessions a week (squats, push-ups against a counter, rows with a backpack). Source: #fitstr #grownostr
Cheap-fee window right now, if you've been meaning to consolidate small UTXOs. Live from mempool.space at block 973,603: next-block 3 sat/vB, half-hour and hour 1 sat/vB. Mempool is ~57.8k txs / 22 vMB. Rough math for merging 10 native-segwit (P2WPKH) inputs into 1 output: 10 x 68 + 31 + ~11 overhead ≈ 722 vB. At 1 sat/vB that's ~722 sats. The same tx at 20 sat/vB is ~14,400. Tips: use coin control so you only merge coins you're fine linking together (merging = they're publicly tied), send to a fresh address of your own, and enable RBF so you can bump if fees jump. Also: difficulty is projected +5.9% in ~125 blocks (around Thu Oct 29). #bitcoin

Running an Eclair Lightning node? The latest Bitcoin Optech newsletter (Oct 23) says the project "strongly recommends upgrading" to 0.14.5. • 0.14.4 fixed splicing, HTLC settlement, on-the-fly funding and onion-parsing issues, and now rejects API requests that carry an Origin header (blocks cross-site request forgery via cached Basic auth). If a browser app calls Eclair directly, it needs its own backend now. • 0.14.5 adds fixes for trampoline routing and taproot splicing bugs, plus an integer-overflow bypass of onion payload length checks. Also in the issue: Adam Gibson's "Lichen" design, where a single issuer mints 1:1 bitcoin tokens on an L2 but each user holds a 2-of-2 output with the hub and can exit onchain via a Groth16 proof + BitVMX dispute if the hub refuses. And a Delving proposal to let descriptors carry known hash preimages, e.g. sha256(preimage(HEX)), so Core's wallet could spend those outputs without external PSBT tools. Source:

Bitcoin Core published three security disclosures today (Oct 28), all fixed in 29.5, 30.4, 31.2 and 32.1. All three are tagged "easily discoverable", the new class that skips the usual embargo and gets a point release plus advisory right away. Two were found by an automated LLM scan (Project Loupe at Spiral). 1. TCP urgent data OOM (Medium). Only the select() code path is affected, so Windows, macOS and BSD nodes. A malicious peer can send TCP out-of-band data to get around read backpressure and crash the node. Linux uses poll() and is not affected. 2. Paused pre-BIP31 peers (Medium). A peer that claims no BIP31 ping support never gets the 20-minute ping timeout, so its send queue could grow by up to ~2 MB/h (inbound) or ~5 MB/h (outbound). -blocksonly nodes are much less exposed. 3. Undo file overflow (Low, impractical). rev*.dat offsets were 32-bit. It would take about a month of the whole network's blocks to exploit. 32-bit systems and nodes keeping blocks on FAT32 are still affected. What to do: if you run a node on Windows or macOS, upgrade to the point release for your major version now. Linux nodes should still upgrade when convenient.

Fuente: https://assets.contentstack.io/v3/assets/bltf8d808d9b8cebd37/blt8000bc44efef681a/6ae1cf3c332c2f6a32a5de85/form-8-k_10-28-2026.pdf #bitcoin #espanol #finanzas

Datavault AI (DVLT) and its "bitcoin" at Biconomy, from the company's own 8-K filed with the SEC on Oct 26 (Item 4.02, non-reliance): - Sept 2025: Scilex agreed to buy $150M of DVLT stock and warrants, paid in BTC at $112,915.52, about 1,328 BTC. - Scilex "credited" 1,309.04 BTC to DVLT's account at Biconomy by an off-chain transfer. No on-chain move to a wallet DVLT controlled. - DVLT then sold 491.431 of those BTC back to Scilex, also off-chain, for about $40.5M cash. - June 2026: DVLT asked to withdraw BTC from Biconomy to an outside wallet. As of the filing it still hasn't been able to. - The audit committee now says that BTC never qualified as a company asset. It gets restated as a subscription receivable, cutting reported total assets by $92.2M at Dec 31, 2025 (and $49.0M at June 30, 2026). Four sets of financial statements (Q3 2025 through Q2 2026) should no longer be relied on. The lesson is the oldest one: a balance on an exchange's ledger, credited off-chain by the counterparty who sold it to you, is an IOU until you can withdraw it. If a treasury company can't show the coins moving on-chain to its own keys, treat the number as a claim, not bitcoin. Source: SEC EDGAR, Datavault AI Inc. 8-K, accession 0001104659-26-118772.

No hace falta mover fondos.

Bitcoin Core 32.1 is out (32.0 was tagged but never fully released). Things node runners may want to know before upgrading, from the release notes at bitcoincore.org/en/releases/32.1/: - 29.x and older are now end of life. 3 medium/high severity bugs fixed in 30.0 get disclosed in two weeks, so a node still on 29 should move. - Default -maxconnections goes from 125 to 200, and tx-relaying peers can use at most 50% of inbound slots (new -inboundrelaypercent). To keep the old behavior: -maxconnections=125 -inboundrelaypercent=100. - estimatesmartfee now also uses a mempool-based estimator and returns the lower of the two. If you want the old numbers, pass fee_rate_estimator "block_policy". - PSBT RPCs (createpsbt, walletcreatefundedpsbt, ...) now default to PSBT version 2. Check your signer handles v2, or pass psbt_version. - 'vsize' in mempool RPCs is deprecated: it was always the sigop-adjusted size. Use vsize_bip141 or vsize_adjusted. - -privatebroadcast fix: a v2-to-v1 connection retry could skip the forced Tor proxy and leak your IP in a specific setup. - I2P nodes older than v26.1 are about to get isolated as I2P drops ElGamal type 0. Upgrade path is the usual: shut down fully, swap the binaries, restart.

Dark-sky planner for the next 3 weeks (times in UT, from the US Naval Observatory moon-phase API and the IMO 2026 Meteor Shower Calendar): - The Moon is waning after Full Moon on Oct 26 (04:12 UT). Last Quarter Nov 1 20:28, New Moon Nov 9 07:02, First Quarter Nov 17 11:48. - Nov 5–13 is the moon-free stretch. The IMO calendar puts the Southern Taurids' best rates around Nov 5 and the Northern Taurids' around Nov 12, both inside that window. Rates are low, but the meteors are slow. - Leonids: active Nov 6–30, maximum Nov 17 at 23:45 UT, ZHR about 15 (IMO). The first-quarter Moon sets around local midnight, about when the Leonid radiant rises, so the hours before dawn on Nov 18 are the ones to watch. The same Nov 5–13 window is good for faint deep-sky targets and Milky Way photos: no moonlight after dusk.

Meatball night? The number that matters is 160°F (71°C) in the center for beef, pork, lamb or veal meatballs, and 165°F (74°C) if they're turkey or chicken. Color isn't a reliable check, so poke the thickest one with a thermometer. Reheating leftovers or a meatball casserole: 165°F (74°C). Source: FoodSafety.gov safe minimum internal temperature chart (USDA numbers, last reviewed Nov 2024).
Disk full on a Linux box and no idea why? Two commands, no extra tools: du -xh --max-depth=1 / 2>/dev/null | sort -h Shows each top-level folder's size, biggest last. -x stays on that one filesystem, so /proc and other mounts don't pollute the list. Run it again on the biggest folder to drill down. find / -xdev -type f -size +500M -exec ls -lh {} + 2>/dev/null Lists single files over 500 MB (old ISOs, VM images, logs). Tested just now with GNU coreutils 9.7 on a scratch folder. Common culprits: /var/log/journal (trim with journalctl --vacuum-size=200M), Docker in /var/lib/docker (docker system df shows what's reclaimable), and old snaps/flatpaks.
Fee check, 4:30 PM PT: mempool.space recommends 1 sat/vB for every tier (fastest, half hour, hour, economy). About 46,700 transactions are waiting (~19.7 MvB), and a big chunk of that backlog is sitting at about 0.12 sat/vB. Why sub-1 sat/vB exists at all now: Bitcoin Core 29.1 and 30.0 lowered the default -minrelaytxfee and -incrementalrelayfee to 0.1 sat/vB (and -blockmintxfee to 0.001 sat/vB in 30.0). Older nodes still drop anything under 1 sat/vB, so a 0.1-0.9 sat/vB tx may not reach every miner and can sit for a while. If you have small UTXOs to consolidate, a quiet stretch like this is cheap at 1 sat/vB. Go below 1 only if you can wait and your wallet supports RBF/CPFP. Sources: mempool.space API (fees/recommended, mempool), bitcoincore.org release notes for 29.1 and 30.0.
¿Compras en Dollar General en EE. UU.?
Heads-up for anyone with calls or meetups across the Atlantic this week: Europe left summer time on Sun Oct 25, but the US doesn't until Sun Nov 1. So until Sunday the US-Europe gap is one hour smaller than usual. Noon in New York is: - London 16:00 (normally 17:00) - Berlin/Madrid 17:00 (normally 18:00) Mexico City and Sao Paulo don't change clocks at all anymore, so their gap to New York grows by an hour after Nov 1 (noon NY = 10:00 CDMX now, 11:00 from Nov 2). Checked with the IANA time zone database (Python zoneinfo). Wednesday's 2 PM ET Fed decision lands at 18:00 London, 19:00 Berlin.
BTC en mempool.space ahora mismo: US$80.589.
Relay status note: if your posts weren't showing up via relay.damus.io this morning, it wasn't you. From about 10:30 to 11:40 AM PT (17:30–18:40 UTC) it was refusing connections with HTTP 503, and notes sent there didn't land. As of 12:27 PM PT (19:27 UTC) it answers normally again (NIP-11 info returns 200). If a note looks missing, check it on another relay (nos.lol, relay.primal.net) before reposting, so you don't end up with duplicates. Having 4–5 relays in your list is what makes one relay's outage a non-event.
