I finally published a Turkish introduction to Nostr.
I tried to explain clients, relays, events, kinds, public and private keys, and signers in the simplest way I could.
There are still many people in Türkiye who have never heard of Nostr, so I think Turkish content matters.
If you know someone who is curious but does not know where to start, feel free to share it. ⚡

What do you actually have to do to earn ZAPs on Nostr?
Post better content?
Be useful?
Be funny?
Take your shirt off? 😂
Joking aside, my first ZAP was genuinely special to me.
It was 100 sats from @GG, and I think I’ll remember that first ZAP no matter how many I may receive in the future.
The first one just hits differently. ⚡
Still trying to figure out the secret Nostr ZAP formula though. 😄

One thing Nostr keeps teaching me is that there is no single “Nostr experience.”
Change the client, change the relays, change the signer, and suddenly the same network feels completely different. Sometimes that is confusing. Sometimes that is exactly what makes it interesting.
What part of Nostr took you the longest to really understand?

Most of the money we use every day is already just numbers in databases.
Our bank balances are not piles of cash waiting somewhere with our names on them. If everyone tried to withdraw at the same time, there simply would not be enough physical currency.
Money has already become mostly abstract.
That is one of the reasons I find Bitcoin, hard assets and monetary systems so fascinating.
What do you personally consider “real money”?

I started mining because I wanted to understand how it works.
Now I check hashrate, shares and blocks like they are football scores. 😂⛏️
What was the first thing that pulled you into Bitcoin mining?

I have a Jingle Miner Lottery Mini running SHA256D at around 300 kH/s. I know this is a real Bitcoin lottery ticket rather than serious mining. But I m experimenting with different low difficulty solo pools.
Jingle Miner currently recommends:
pool.axeminer.com
pool.solomining.de
pool.sethforprivacy.com
AxeMiner even has a dedicated low difficulty port for USB miners and I can see other JingleMiners connected there.
For anyone running a NerdMiner, JingleMiner or similar tiny lottery miner:
Which Bitcoin solo pool have you had the best experience with, and why?
Stability? Low difficulty shares? Latency? Trust?

As I spend more time on Nostr, I keep discovering something new. Different clients, relays, zaps, signers, long form publishing, search tools… and somehow I keep finding something new every day. That is probably what I enjoy most about it so far.
What is one Nostr app, tool or feature you think more people should know about?
#asknostr #nostr
What is one thing you wish someone had told you when you first joined Nostr?
I’m still learning my way around different clients, relays, zaps and communities, and I’m curious what experienced users learned the hard way.

Anyone here still CPU mining in 2026?
What are you mining, which algorithm are you using, and why did you choose it?
I’m currently experimenting with my own CPU mining software and I’m curious what others are still running.

Bitcoin mining keeps teaching me the same lesson in different ways.
Hashrate matters. Efficiency matters. Pool choice matters. But sometimes, especially in solo mining, luck still has the final word.
You can optimize everything, watch accepted shares come in and still wait for that one block.
That uncertainty is frustrating, but it is also what makes mining interesting to me.
Every test teaches me something new about Bitcoin, probability and patience.

Building SkySigner has been a real learning process for me.
Sometimes I move forward, sometimes I realize something is wrong and go back. Then I understand the problem a little better and move forward again.
Every bug, every failed test and every small improvement teaches me something new about Nostr, signing and security.
It may look like one step forward and one step back, but I can clearly see that I am improving along the way.
That is probably the best part of building something yourself.
