typically you'll do the first generation at 1024x1024 and then it's successive 2x upscales that starts filling in details. .... if you turn up the noise during the upscales, with some models you can start getting some really nice emergent fractally stuff happening as the diffusions hallucinate the same motifs at higher resolutions, hence like drips on drips, etc .....

starting to get some nice details in these upscales. nostr upload is 2k but got a 4k version here locally ...... what i'm learning this weekend is Regional Prompting. so different parts of the image are generated with distinct prompts WITHOUT context bleeding. ..... happy days =) ∞ <3

Resurrecting this Nostr account. Been busy times over here! So I almost kind of hate to admit it, but I've been quite enjoying "making" AI art of late. Or, as I said to my daughter, "causing AI art to be made". ..... #interestingTimes ... it doesn't obsolete all the After Effects and Blender knowledge I gained the past 5 years. It's just another tool to be used. I'm working with a ComfyUI/Stable Diffusion setup locally in my off-time, not just trying to one-shot things with online AI image gen tools. So it still feels a lot like engineering, and it's an interesting challenge maintaining enough control to get what I want while still giving the stable diffusion models room to hallucinate and have interesting things emerge.
