Nostria (native) is now available on @Zapstore! This means there are two official releases of Nostria on Zapstore and it will continue to be two for a little longer, because they are distinct from each other. The previous one loads the app from our web server and gets updates automatically, you cannot stop the updates. Additionally it's just a small shell that uses something called TWA, Trusted Web Activities. It means it's more dependent on your browser, it even supports built in translations the browser has, which is important for some of you. This version support browser extension signing on your phone. This version does no longer support local signer, only remote signer protocol (you can still use local Amber, but setup requires more steps). New app is fully packaged, meaning that all the code to run it, is installed on the local device. It does not automatically install updates by itself, though you can check for updates in Settings/About. New app has native signer support, meaning it's basically a one click button from the login screen and you're ready to use Nostria, it's just as easy as any other Nostr client. This new app renders the full available screen and there are a few UI bugs related to this that is being fixed. So consider this new app is not as optimized as the other one, even though they are exactly the same code. Image previews for example, shows on your whole screen, the same with videos. Please give it a go and provide us feedback, we'll continue to update the release with improvements and fixes. "app.nostria" is the identifier of the new native app, available here:

Media Library is now capable of showing encrypted media and files that you have sent in private messages. Instead of seeing generic thumbnails, it allows you to play back video, pictures - and even look at encrypted files, right in the media library. Anything other than a regular post, should if following the comment NIP, not use kind 1 for comments/replies. Unfortunately, there is still plenty of Nostr apps that uses kind 1 for everything, including articles and polls. #Nostria will now render a combined view of kind 1 (replies) and kind 1111 (comments). Hopefully everyone will upgrade to follow newer Nostr protocol soon.

Added ability to set primary wallet, which will be used for quick zaps. You can also transfer between your wallets, as #Nostria supports multiple NWCs.

There is currently some spam attacks on direct messages on Nostr, some users is receiving messages, each for different account so simply banning is not a good solution, neither is reporting. Each account is only delivering one message, so you can "Delete" (removes locally) the chats one by one, or you can purge them all from the new Manage Inbox dialog. Also added Web of Trust filter on the "Others" tab, helping you sort your inbox from non-following profiles. If someone does not have a rank score yet, that you have already chatted with, they will be included in the "0" rank score and not hidden. Watch this video to learn how it works:
