My formative years were in the 80's. Linux, Decentralization, Security, Some Windows, I like phones and can't decide between Android or iOS so I have two.
I've always thought #Movies have basically blown for the past couple decades. Then I saw this list and it is clear, a couple from early 90's the rest much older.

I'm building my own music streaming service. Renting a VPS that can do the job is much cheaper than the services themselves.
I'm so happy Rogan is back in the RSS feeds... now I wonder if I need Spotify at all?
I'm on my constant quest to find interesting people to follow here. Preferably covering things besides bitcoin. I don't like to use the public stream to look due to running into random kiddy porn. I would prefer to avoid that. Or shoot the motherfuckers for that matter. Any suggestions appreciated.

I saw these two Canadians seeking asylum today.
I wanted to scroll the global feed to find interesting folks to follow, but the random child porn that shows up keeps me from visiting the feed. Is there a way place we can find people and avoid the global feed? It is a place I don't like to visit.

I wish I would have figured this out sooner, but turning on block scripts in Brave Browser’s shields allows me to bypass the NY Times paywall. I’m assuming this will work on other sites also.

I enjoyed this one, read most of it on an airplane. It reinforces things I think we all sort of realize with big tech but never quite put the big picture together in our heads.

I'm not a super fan of YouTube or YouTube Music, but the subscription to have Music and no ads in YouTube is super tempting at times.
The fact that everyone I know is on an iPhone, Facetime, and iMessage forces one hand to fall completely into the full Apple ecosystem. It’s hard to resist.
I realized self-hosting wasn't for me.
