Hello fam, We’re excited to share that we’ve successfully completed the initial mission we set out to achieve! 🎉 While this is a big milestone, we recognize there are still gaps to fill, and we’re already working on the next phase. This next phase will focus on telling Africa’s Bitcoin stories, while continuing other important initiatives: - Building a Bitcoin circular economy (@Bitcoin Ikorodu) - Hosting local meetups & events - Offering online & offline education - Orangepilling & content creation (X space, Podcast, video and written) We’re incredibly grateful to the community for your support so far. Your contributions have made this journey possible, and we can’t wait to begin this new chapter for Bitcoin in Africa. ➬ Support our Movement: Stay tuned for updates, and keep supporting our movement. We’ll continue to prioritize transparency, effort, and proof-of-work every step of the way. BITCOIN IS FAMILY🧡
May 22, 2010. Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 BTC for two pizzas. The world laughed. "Idiots paying millions for pizza!" They missed the point entirely. For the first time in history, someone bought a real-world good with money that NO government issued, NO bank approved, and NO intermediary touched. As Laszlo himself said: "It wasn't about the pizza. It was about proving it works." Today's payment processors still take 3% and 3 days to settle. That pizza transaction settled in less 10 minutes. In 2010. On a laptop.

To move forward sustainably, we’re refining roles, strengthening coordination, and aligning our team around what matters most: grassroots Bitcoin education, real adoption, and African stories that show proof-of-work in action. More updates soon. Thank you for building with us 🧡 image

We paid for our haircuts in #Bitcoin, this time I came with two other people. He’s already comfortable using Bitcoin, and Bitcoin just kept moving! This is what we’re building at Bitcoin Ikorodu: not one-off demos, but real people paying, real merchants receiving, over and over. ➼ Support the barber: imajyce@blink.sv cc: @Blink Wallet
