How I see AI effecting the Software Developer profession:
I see the changes in my role as a professional software developer to be related to where the focus is placed within the job. The time I used to spend writing code, has now shifted into putting together clear, concise prompts.
I spend a lot of time gathering reference material and putting that in a directory that the AI can access. Then I spend time writing and proof reading a long prompt tying together in all the resources and scope. I work with the AI to convert that into an elaborate specification document with todo items. Finally I set the swarm of AI on the todo list.
So my time has shifted from writing code to more architectural documentation. It still relies on my years of experience. That was valuable then and probably more valuable now.
So I don't really see that anything professionally is changing much of all. Just the emphasis within the profession is changing.

Engineer. Been a Bitcoiner since 2009. Always been more interested in the tech than the money, but I hodl. I work on BCH and IPFS mostly, but focus on the tech, not the money. I'm not tribal about tech.
I've got a BTC auto-buy set on Coinbase to purchase the same amount every week. It makes me view pullbacks favorably now. It's a chance to accumulate, and get more bang for my buck.
New video: How to setup a BCH full node
I just discovered this 'Ralph Wiggum' technique for building apps with AI. I'm kind of fascinated by it, and just starting down the rabbit hole. Has anyone else used this technique?
New video + documentation added: Learn how to manage rich data embedded into an SLP token. You can embed a blog post into a token, and data can change over time.

As promised, here is a walk-through video on the x402-bch protocol. It's a slight variation on the #x402 protocol by @coinbase, but tweaked to work with #BitcoinCash. These techniques should work with most L1 blockchains.
I published a new video with written documentation, showing how to put your SLP tokens into cold storage, using paper wallets.

Adventure weekend! I'm scouting the coastline of British Columbia, to finalize plans for crossing next summer in my sailboat.

I sent this to my family:

I'm building a censorship-resistent content promotion platform and I'm looking for content creators that might want to use it to promote their content.
Added some documentation about how we use SLP tokens to track data that changes over time.

I just published this walk-through video on how to install a local copy of bch-dex, to sell SLP tokens via the DEX. This is the self-hosted version, so you do not need to ask permission or sign up for any accounts.
I'll be adding this video to the README for the bch-dex, as well as the different documentation sites like slp-tokens.com and dex-docs.psfoundation.info
I just published a video and written tutorial on how to create SLP fungible tokens on the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain, using the psf-slp-wallet command line app:

Private messaging is probably the most fundamental tool that people need to conduct trade on the internet. This web app let's you send an E2EE message to any BCH address. #BitcoinCash

Source Code:
This web app is compatible with the psf-msg-wallet CLI application. Either the web or the CLI app can be used to send and receive E2EE messages.
This is a really handy set of tools for software developers who work on many computers. You've got a two options for securely transmitting sensitive data.
A common use case where I use this technology: I will have an SSH command-line terminal to a remote VPS linux server. I can use the CLI app to send messages to my phone. On my phone, I use the web app.

I updated the list of application software maintained by the PSF. We've got a really great stack of applications for working with BCH and SLP tokens.

I've been working on improving a JavaScript CLI app for sending end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) messages to any Bitcoin Cash address. The encrypted message is stored on a Nostr relay until it can be downloaded and decrypted by the recipient.
The newest feature allows you to attach JSON data to the message.

I want to see more cypherpunk and parallel-economy content on #Nostr. If you know someone on there that posts that kind of content (as opposed to purely Bitcoin-promotion-only stuff), please put their npub in the comments.
It's a beautiful time of year for sailing.
