Today is my #easter day with the kiddos. They go back to moms tonight. The girls got easter baskets with some goodies, kites, and got to go on an egg hunt. Thanks @Solara Noir for the help with eggs. Afterwards, we tried a new recipe for pancakes which turned out to be great and avoided everyone's allergies. Happy easter everyone. Later today, we are attending a Japanese festival, the girls have been super obsessed with Japanese culture lately, so its a nice little surprise for them. #coffeechain

Confluence has been really a pain to work with lately. I miss markdown in a bit repo. At least I don't get ai popups every 2 minutes... Atlassian marketing needs to calk the fuck down. Well, so I synced all the teams confluence docs to our self-hosted gitlab in markdown. Now we can read in peace and let our llms interact with it. There's a cool python project called confluence-sync that enables this.

Winter Field Day is this weekend. Ham radio operators around the United States and even internationally will be going out into winter conditions, many on alternative power and practice their capabilities in harsh environments. Myself and @Solara Noir will be out camping, the weather looks to be OK for this weekend for us, but it will be cold weather camping all the same. We are preparing for HF, UHF, and VHF voice contacts and digital modes, including js8call, sending(and receiving) a winlink email over RF, etc. We may even try a satellite contact this time. We are bringing solar power and batteries, with a backup of a gasoline generator because it will be cloudy.
