I miss when developers used to care about the problems they were trying to solve with software and focusing on coming up with real long-term solutions instead of shitting out half baked projects that they move on from the second they think of some other shit to sloppily vibe their way through.

So I see you people on Nostr haven't grown up enough to stop using the word "retarded". Y'all sound like my friends in middle school in 1996.
So LLMs:
1. Produce low quality code that doesn't last
2. Rob you of practice you need to improve your cognitive ability
3. Trick you into thinking they aren't the most inefficient form of development (through increasing token input/output inside subsidized plans)
4. Leave you with a very poor understanding of the things you build
5. Require you to give every one of your thoughts to untrustworthy companies
6. Can be made unavailable at any moment
and
7. May randomly be nerfed even if made available again

I'm guessing vocal LLM users don't realize how much they sound like addicts.
The circle-jerking in this place is getting pretty annoying to watch.
I’m trying to understand why humans enjoy drinking liquid meant for baby cows.
Yes, my mood has been complete shit for quite a while now.

$57k???
What’s the best iOS Nostr client? I don’t want to use Primal anymore.
The 58k people must be thrilled.
So we all have to change our preset zap amounts at this point huh?
Using AI for development is not efficient. I might seem like it because of these subsidized plans, but burning through tokens to brute force coding solutions is too wasteful.
This is becoming apparent on a larger economic level, but will become even more apparent individually once everyone has to actually pay real token prices.
Has relay.nostr.com ever worked?
