human incarnation of marmite, builder of hard soft things, surreptitious dismantler of states. Opinions are all mine and as such will be completely different to yours, also serial wind up merchant
The last couple weeks been laying out in the garden late into the night, staring up at the sky quite a bit. Reminded of how I used to do it a lot as a kid, as we went camping loads. I don’t quite remember as much movement in the night sky as there is now. I grew up in the southern hemisphere, and you would get the occasional aeroplane or satellite. But now it seems almost constant movement up there. Just an observation
I can't help but think the next Bitcoin controversy is going to be Ledn , seems a lot of "bitcoin influencers". Are pushing their bitcoin backed loans as if they are something cool and useful.
You know I still don’t know how I feel about BIP-110. As a engineer, I think we should push the car up the hill and see if it crashes again
Well that was fun! BIP 110 didn't succeed, but I learned a shit ton more about Mining, Nodes & how to switch between different implementations of BItcoin
I know many would consider this too much time with tin foil hats, and i have to say I agree. But when you start connecting dots and doing the maths, things just don't add up or if they do in the wrong columns. This CoinKite Cold Card "Hack" seems to have an extra-ordinary series of coincidences, which just don't seem to be the workings of an opportunistic hack. Much rather more of a pre-determined outcome. The Boltz & BTCPayserver "attack" - remarkably well timed to coincide with the the Cold Card incident. Which Ultimately affects Bull Bitcoin, who as we know, have taken it upon themselves initiated a legal challenge against the European Union’s DAC8 directive. This directive, which took effect on January 1, 2026, mandates that cryptocurrency service providers disclose user identities and transaction data to tax authorities across the EU. All fired up to coinside with this weekends BIP-110 signalling. Whichever side of the fence you're on. The knee jerk intuitive response I am noticing. Is users demanding some sort of justice and accountability be implemented. Which always results in the state getting involved, with its warm fuzziness of legislation & regulation and its monopoly on violence. The state institutions a.k.a Banks, will all provide you with the assurances that they are safe, because as it happens the services that they have historically provided i.e Safety, Security & Processing are being attacked in these "Bitcoin Hacks". At the Same time, when the states are trying to reassure you with the safety of their Digital ID! Yeah, call me paranoid, schizophrenic , cynical retard but its all too fucking fishy for me

In life you get to know those special kind of idiots, who think they know everything, and like to call those who don’t know everything idiots for not knowing everything . I definitely don’t know and understand everything, but one of the talents I have been gifted with in life, is the ability to easily identify those special kind of idiots and avoid them.

I love AI, it gets me from brain fart, to half baked half finished solutions that I lose interest in, in a fraction of the time

I watched the film Citizen Vigilante, not because I wanted to, but because I had to. If a governments and institutions try to ban things, then obviously there is something they are trying to hide, or oppress. Then this only heightens the interest and inquisitiveness. On the whole, the movie itself, direction and acting, was very mediocre at best. However, I did find the story line and story telling and plot to be really interesting. It does address a number of issues affecting society today. Its ludicrous to even suggest, that the movie will incite violence, especially when violence is already at extreme levels. Primarily due to this enforced and completely unnecessary Multi-Culturalism ideology , which is never going to work, primarily because it is not actually the idea, rather more the primary idea is complete replacement. Trying to block or rule out any debate or even discussion on the matter, just makes this far, far worse.
