I wish that all #nix and guix communities come together to maintain an omni fork, where it'll have all the great features combined from #lix, #guix, #snix, #detsysnix etc which will be like a bleeding edge testing bed for a futuristic #nix where ideas blend and people find ways to work together ❤️

Hi @Amethyst It would be nice to have a channels like view for feed, this way I can see someone's profile, the latest post preview , the unread count. This way it's easier for me to catchup with things than a single chronological feed. Make this optional of course. Just like in the attached pic. #amethyst #feature #request for improved UX

Hi nostr people, Yesterday in my local community online meetup. I introduced nostr to them by 40+ minutes talk. Very very few audience. But people loved it and showed interest. I was explaining them what is a signer and how nostr ecosystem use this very differently from others. Like how the clients don't even have any form of credentials and when u want to post something, they'll send it to the signer to sign it instead of clients signing themselves. This way the browser, clients no matter what is compromised will never have the keys exposed and only the signer will have to be protected. And even no keys are transmitted too. People loved this kind of workflow and got curious about Nostr. Please tell me if I have missed something or mentioned it wrong. Hi #Amethyst users, What does the relay sync do? Will it mirror all events related to me to all other relays for redundancy?

One of the coolest UX in #nostr apps is that even the client apps I use doesn't even have my login(pub and private keys). It asks a signer app to sign. This way I trust only the #signer and it's a really cool UX. No more #passwords etc. Btw, i use #amber in #Android as signer.

The #Nostr #ecosystem covers a lot than I thought they would. It have appstore, social media, live, videos, website, mail, chat etc etc. It just feels right to use it. U own everything and the #platform doesn't own you.

I have been leaning more into tech freedom these days. And I found #Nostr, honestly it feels right as in how things should always have been. How did I miss this one in my life so far. It's awesome🔥 the tech itself is simple, beautiful and freedom❤️ It focuses on people not platforms 👏🏻

Hi #Nostr people, I'm wondering why there's no edit #feature for short notes ? I heard that we can edit for long posts, but not small ones.. I'm an idiot who makes a typo and still fail to see it. Is this one of the Nostr's design? I'm using #amethyst app in Android btw
