Over the years I’ve developed a photography workflow that works well for me. It’s simple, file-based, and avoids relying on a Lightroom catalog. I wrote a short post explaining how it works in case it might be helpful to other photographers.

Well, that’s a wrap. I finished 3rd in the Semifinals of my first-ever photo competition. Only the top two advanced to the Finals. I’m disappointed not to make it one round further, but I’m also incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and daily votes so many of you gave. It truly meant a lot. This was my first time entering a public competition, and it was quite a ride. I learned a lot and appreciated every message, vote, and kind word along the way. Thank you for being part of it. image

Today is Day Two of voting for this month’s photo competition. (No, I won’t be posting about it every day.) They’re still doing double votes today, so each vote counts as two. As of this moment, my photo is still ranked #1 in my group. The top four will advance to the next round. You can vote once per day. The next round will be tougher—there will be twenty photos in my group, all of which advanced from Round One. Thank you to everyone who has voted. I truly appreciate it.
