The only consistent people in #bitcoin are the people who have been trying to keep node operation as light as possible & limit data costs so that the network will remain decentralized & censorship proof. They were demonized as "small blockers" during the blocksize war & they are demonized for being pro filter "knotzies" now, but they are right.

We are done with the cold, done with Canada, & I am personally not a big city person. Ideally, we would like to be able to walk on the beach every morning. Other plans have fallen through, so how difficult is it to make a life in El Salvador? What are the positives & the negatives? How hard is it to get a car? How hard is it to travel between El Zonte & San Salvador? What is the cost & availability of quality meat & eggs, & other basic goods? Spanish is definitely not among our strengths, but we have tools for translation on phones (locally run) & we have no problem learning. I will need tools... How hard is it to order something like a 3d printer? Printer filament? Is it possible to get Harbor Freight like hand tools? Are there any decent hardware stores in and around El Zonte &/or San Salvador? Is there anyone here working on shipping things into El Salvador? Knowing who is in the fight for freedom & who is an enemy of freedom is pretty simple. The people who want to make it easier for everyone to mine & to run nodes that audit & record & verify everything in a completely trustless manner are for freedom. The people who want to make it more costly to do those things are enemies of freedom. Anyone have any suggestions for the best way to get a globally usable internet phone number or something close (North & South America being the primary focus)? I am temporarily using Silent Link for data & intend to switch to a more local service provider, but I would like to set up a SIP number that I can use with pretty much any data plan or service. Anyone have any experience doing something similar? Are there services that are more or less secure than others or is it all just equally insecure as a general form of communication? Are texts & calls generally reliable so long as the data connection is good or is it hit & miss? #asknostr

If the leadership in Iran is intelligent (not a ton of hope of that) for every missile the US launches at them, they will launch 10 at Israel & only Israel. They do not have the capacity to fight the US, but a focused attack on the psychopathic organization that is manipulating the US has a small chance of actually setting the US free & ending the conflict for good.
