I don't consider something labeled "free with ads" as actually free.

We have a cleaning lady come to our house about once a month to give it a once over because we ( I ) suck at cleaning. She's been coming for over a year I think, maybe two. I've never actually seen her before because she comes during the week while I'm at work. Today I had to take a late lunch because of a customer call and she was there, so now I know what she looks like. I was going to thank her for periodically cleaning the skid marks off the back of the toilet bowl for me - but I didn't have time for exchanging such pleasantries.

As the person who does the grocery shopping in our household, I've been acutely aware of inflation - but for what ever reason when I went this last Saturday I finally reached the level of genuinely shocked at prices. It wasn't one specific thing, it was across the board, however the $20 for this 2lb can of regular ol' Foldgers stood out in particular. It was $15 or less not so long ago. Bless you all right in the face. #coffee #inflation
