1/2 Message for users of the Mastodon NicFab instance. Our Mastodon instance requires considerable computing power, forcing us to make some choices, having never received contributions or donations. Thus, we are considering terminating our Mastodon instance or setting up a new one on another more-performing infrastructure.

On 27/3/2021, our Matrix homeserver went online. This resource has always been open to anyone, accessible and free for all, entirely at our expense. However, web services require technical infrastructures with costs and need us to make choices. Therefore, despite ourselves, we will have to terminate our Matrix instance, which will remain active until 25/8/2023 resulting in the deletion of all data. Thank you for the trust you have placed in us.

Il 27/3/2021 il nostro homeserver Matrix andava online. Questa risorsa sin dal principio è sempre stata aperta a chiunque e gratuita per tutti, completamente a nostro carico. Tuttavia, i servizi web richiedono infrastrutture tecniche che hanno dei costi e che ci impongono di fare delle scelte. Pertanto, nostro malgrado, dovremo terminare la nostra istanza di Matrix che resterà attiva sino al 25/8/2023 con conseguente cancellazione di ogni dato. Grazie per la fiducia che ci avete accordato.
