You can't fix the log by standing on it better. The log is the problem. The mind that created the struggle cannot solve the struggle. It can only spin faster, bakcwards or forwards, searching for safety. The only move is out. Not better balance. Not more effort. Just seeing the whole thing from the shore. image

I've spent my life being the helper. Always the expert. Always achieving. Always doing, because somewhere along the way I learned that being useful was how you earned love. I've realised I don't know what I actually enjoy. I'm in that right now. And it's the most uncomfortable and honest place I've ever been. The drive has gone. Not dipped, gone. And I can't go back onto the wheel because I can finally see it for what it is. A fake life. The trade offs no longer work. What I'm left with is an emptiness. It feels so alien to not strive, not be constantly doing in order to be seen as special or to be someone. I don't know what I enjoy and I now have to wait to feel what that actually feels like. A driven life without enjoyment is a prison, a hellish hamster wheel. It took me a while to see that truth and now I cannot unsee it. Yesterday I danced to some old tracks by the pool. I went for a walk in the beautiful countryside which filled my senses so fully. Most of what I do right now is nothing. I'm just fully present. Maybe that's where it starts.

Rob here. The Inner Circle is live. If you've been sitting with your pattern -- the one that keeps showing up no matter how much you understand it -- this is the next step. There are 10 Founding Member spots. That's not a device. It's the number I can actually work with at this level. When they're gone, the price goes up. The community stays open -- but the founding rate locks permanently for the people who took it. What founding members get that nobody else will: The rate is locked for life. Everything lives in one app -- the live weekly sessions, the full Glitch video course, Q&A, the archive, and a community of people doing the actual work, not just reading about it. It's on your phone. It goes where you go. The difference between this and reading the book: the book shows you the map. The community is where you navigate in real time, with other people who can see the wheel you're on when you can't. If that's you, go here now: 10 spots at this price. First in, permanently in at this rate. Rob

I watched my daughter dance this morning. She was spinning around the kitchen, lost in her own world. And there I was, physically present, but mentally, my mind had caught my attention. One of my "hamster wheels" had caught my attention without me noticing. Some thought, some worry, some phantom urgency pulled me away from the only thing that actually mattered: my child, right in front of me. This is what most of us don't understand about attention. You're not choosing where it goes. Old survival programmes are. They were built by a younger version of you trying to stay safe, and they've been running on autopilot ever since. The result? We reach 50, 60, 80 and realize we spent our lives focused on things that weren't truly valuable to us. Social media has made this worse. It's literally engineered to feed your hamster wheels. Here's what actually works: Watch where your energy goes. Notice which wheel is spinning. Understand that the programme is not you. It's a defense mechanism from a child who no longer needs it. When you see it clearly, something shifts. The grip loosens. And you come back. To the room. To the person in front of you. To your actual life.

I met a guy at btc Prague who was an expert in natural swimming pools - I can’t remember his name. Does anyone know him or anyone who is an expert in that area? #asknostr

The world's highest intelligence is nature. Medicine, from medi, meaning to bring to centre, and cine, from the ancient sin, not the interpretation of moral failing, but the archer's term: to miss the mark. True medicine, then, is the art of returning to centre all the ways we have strayed from our own nature. This is the way. image

Special reconnaissance Spoke with someone yesterday about the hamster wheels and their experience of using this framework to debug limiting behaviours. Actually using the word limiting isn't really doing it justice - they completely sabotage your life and you get Rekt. It's like calling a termite infestation in a house a limitation on the house… doesn't really work right? It was a great conversation and I guided him a little on spotting the wheels… and then I heard the trap. He said "I just want to become the best version of myself" I immediately saw the danger in that thought and quickly pointed it out. Now I know that everyone wants "to become" the best version of themselves but the thought is a script that will run forever - what makes it have that energy to keep going? … "feeling like you are not enough and that best version always needs to be in the future and something you are never going to get or never be satisfied with… it's a trap that will always spin up something to make you think the opposite." The script is a defence mechanism that feeds off of you to keep you "SAFE". This is a hard level to be watching, but if you see how dangerous this script is you will at all costs watch out for it. This is elite level work and some people don't want to take responsibility like this, they can go back to playing with self help or spirituality, but if you're serious about changing, then you're in the right place. This is Special reconnaissance - Recce or recon. In military jargon, reconnaissance is abbreviated to recce (in British, Canadian, Australian English) and to recon (in American English), both derived from the root word reconnoitre / reconnoitering. Let's get to it. Rob (no ai used) image
