Spent almost 2h on a bike this morning to go touch some sand, take the sun and play with my daughter in the ocean.
Be active, go outside, spend time with your loved ones, best therapy.

Bitcoin | Freedom, Sovereignty and Hard Money
Two days ago, I came home after going to a restaurant with the fam lit a cig on the patio and randomly open Primal. At first I couldn’t believe what was going on with coldcard. This wallet was sold by absolutely everybody in this space as the best hardware wallet. I skipped the dice rolls, before this day I didn’t have an idea of how a seed was generated even if I’ve been in there for a few years now.
I have to say owning a Seedkeeper saved me. I am 10h flight from home on vacation, I remember running in the room a bit panicking and typed the words into Bull wallet to move funds to one of my other hardware wallet. Probably messed up the little privacy I managed to get with these coins but matter less than the risk of losing the very most part of my stash.
I am thankful to everyone for their posts these past few days, I learned a lot. I make a point today that I have to understand much more about Bitcoin and the technicals it and the tools available depend on.
If you’re a builder, keep building, we depend on you. If not a builder, keep learning, you depend on your knowledge.
Maybe I am the only one but what happened to cold card users made me question a lot my setup. Should I go full cyperpunk/parano with multisig multi vendor setup, rolling dices etc… or should I accept the tradeoff of using a co-hosted solution like Bitkey ?
Then I asked my favorite LLM and I guess it would be possible to create a trustless solution that would work similar without trusting a centralized server replacing it with NIP-44 encrypted payloads events on Nostr, a seedsigner and an app with encrypted key on the phone/cloud.
Not something of my level to build but just throwing the idea
I guess a robust setup is the less expensive one, far from being the easiest one though but Coldcard event make me question my whole setup I thought highly secured.
Gonna explore/implement the following :
- dice rolls generated entropy
- DIY seedsigner
- passphrases
I guess as bitcoiners time teaches us sovereignty the hard way: taking coins out of exchanges (mtgox, ftx,…) now learn how to generate entropy
Summer in the US, looking to spend some sats with the fam

Gm nostr !
Don't blame the players, blame the game.
One note a day keeps the centralization away !
